Volleyball Game Preview: McCurdy Bobcats vs. Sandia Prep Sundevils

The McCurdy Bobcats will head out on the road to take on the Sandia Prep Sundevils at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Tuesday, McCurdy came up short against Oak Grove Classical Academy and fell 3-1.

While McCurdy had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-22, 21-25, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Sandia Prep got the win against Del Norte on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Sandia Prep took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-8, 25-13.

McCurdy's loss ended a five-match streak of away wins and brought them to 8-2. As for Sandia Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.

McCurdy couldn't quite get it done against Sandia Prep when the teams last played last Tuesday as they fell 3-1. Can the Bobcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
