The Palmdale Aerospace Academy extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Jacob Sacopla. The Palmdale Aerospace Academy Griffins blew past the Desert Christian Knights 88-56 on Tuesday thanks in part to Sacopla, who went 11 for 17 en route to 25 points and four steals. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in assists (four).

Sir-Gavin Epps was another key player, going 6 of 9 on his way to 13 points and eight boards. He is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games he's played.

When it comes to explaining why Desert Christian lost, don't look at Joshua Nuzum. Despite the final result, he went 9 for 19 en route to 25 points and seven boards. With that strong performance, Nuzum is now averaging an impressive 15.4 points per game. Another player making a difference was Abraham Lamoreaux, who posted six points.

The Palmdale Aerospace Academy pushed their record up to 16-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Admittedly, the team didn't face the toughest opposition across those games, namely Desert Christian, St. Monica Academy, and Lancaster Baptist. As for Desert Christian, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.

The Palmdale Aerospace Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, an 80-36 victory against Lancaster Baptist on the 23rd. Desert Christian has also already played their next match, a 71-51 defeat against St. Monica Academy on the 24th.
