Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Jayson Frost and Dion Walker Lead Wise to Victory

There's no place like home for Wise, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They walked away with a 64-56 win over the DuVal Tigers on Monday. The Pumas have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

Leading Wise to victory were Dion Walker and Jayson Frost. Walker almost dropped a double-double with 22 points and nine boards, while Frost went 5 for 7 en route to 16 points in addition to five rebounds and four steals. The contest was Walker's third in a row with at least 16 points. Cayden Hargrove was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with nine points and 13 boards.

Wise's record is now 14-4. As for DuVal, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-5.

Coming up, Wise will venture away from home to face off against Eleanor Roosevelt at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for DuVal, they will square off against High Point at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
