Basketball Recap: Clarkson/Leigh Comes Up Short

Clarkson/Leigh was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They fell 58-50 to the Wisner-Pilger Gators. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 59-55 last Tuesday.

Despite the loss, Clarkson/Leigh still got an impressive performance from Kyle McMullin, who posted 15 points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Wyatt Crosley, who put up 14 points and five rebounds.

Clarkson/Leigh's defeat dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Wisner-Pilger, their victory bumped their record up to 4-15.

Clarkson/Leigh will take on Pierce at 7:30 p.m. on February 11th. As for Wisner-Pilger, they will face off against Lyons-Decatur Northeast at 7:00 p.m. on February 11th. Wisner-Pilger is on a four-game streak of home losses, Lyons-Decatur Northeast a five-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change.
