Softball Recap: Demopolis Wins Going Away Against Montevallo

Demopolis's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 13-7 margin over the Montevallo Bulldogs. The high-scoring effort was just what the Tigers needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Demopolis' victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-18. As for Montevallo, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Demopolis will host Northside at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Rams' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Tigers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Montevallo, they will take on Jemison at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
