College Park had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Alameda Hornets on Tuesday, sneaking past 3-1. Winning may never get old, but the Falcons sure are getting used to it with their eighth in a row.

Savannah Wilson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on five hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 22 consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Alexis Weiler and Elle Osborne did most of the damage at the plate: Weiler went 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI, while Osborne got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

College Park's record now sits at 20-6. As for Alameda, their loss dropped their record down to 22-5.

As of now, neither College Park nor the Hornets have any future games scheduled.
