Baseball Recap: Charleston Takes a Loss

Charleston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the O'Bannon Greenwaves. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the Tigers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Charleston's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for O'Bannon, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 14-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Greenwaves beat Charleston by a score of 18-3 later that day.
