Recap: Campbellsville Eagles vs. Meade County Green Waves
After losing to the Meade County Green Waves the last time they met, the Campbellsville Eagles decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Campbellsville came out on top against Meade County by a score of 62-54 on Friday.
Campbellsville had a senior duo take command as Deondre Weathers dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds and Keondre Weathers dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds. That's the first time this season that Weathers pulled down eight or more rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Keaton Hord, who scored nine points.
Campbellsville is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 6-9 record this season. As for Meade County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.
Campbellsville will head out on the road to face off against Green County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Meade County, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against John Hardin at 6:30 p.m. John Hardin is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
