Football Game Preview: Okemos Wolves vs. Grand Ledge Comets + How To Watch

Okemos hasn't had much luck against Grand Ledge recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Wolves will challenge the Comets at 7:00 p.m. Okemos has given up an average of 31 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Okemos' offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against DeWitt on Friday. They took a blow against the Panthers, falling 51-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Wolves were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Grand Ledge played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 36-14 to Catholic Central. While losing is never fun, the Comets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 56th, while the Shamrocks are ranked second).

Grand Ledge's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Okemos, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Okemos was dealt a bruising 46-10 defeat at the hands of Grand Ledge in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Wolves avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
