Gloucester put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Marblehead Magicians a 2-0 shutout. The Fishermen's pitching crew has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a run in their last three matches.

Gloucester's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-0. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.4 runs over those games. As for Marblehead, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-2.
