Baseball Recap: Prescott Picks Up Seventh Straight Win on the Road

Prescott entered their tilt with Platteville on Saturday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the Hillmen with a sharp 13-6 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-0 on Saturday.

Prescott pushed their record up to 16-4 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.7 runs over those games. As for Platteville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Prescott will venture away from home to challenge Ellsworth at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Platteville, they will head out to square off against Lancaster at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
