South Bend Riley is 1-7 against South Bend Adams since April of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. South Bend Riley is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.1 runs per game this season.

South Bend Riley proved they can win big on Friday (they won by 15) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 win over La Porte. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Slicers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

KAELYNN HOWELL spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and two unearned) runs on six hits and racked up 11 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
