Softball Game Preview: Beulah Bobcats vs. Valley Rams

For the second straight game, Beulah will face off against Valley. The Bobcats will be playing at home against the Rams at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.

Beulah had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the six-run drubbing they dealt Valley on Thursday. The Bobcats put the hurt on the Rams with a sharp 12-6 victory. The Bobcats haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Madyson Snedigar made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Madison Tapley, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Lilly Grant, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

The victory got Beulah back to even at 15-15-1. As for Valley, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-19.
