Cleveland Central won the last time they faced Greenville and things went their way on Monday too. The Cleveland Central Wolves put the hurt on the Greenville Hornets with a sharp 40-20 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolves.

Despite the defeat, Greenville saw an underclassman step up: freshman Corneisha Brown went 5 of 9 on her way to 15 points and six boards. The dominant performance gave Brown a new career-high in points.

Cleveland Central is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.2 points per game. As for Greenville, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-14.
