Baseball Recap: Altamont Comes Up Short

Altamont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of Westminster School at Oak Mountain. Altamont was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Westminster School at Oak Mountain earlier this season, when they won 6-1.

Altamont now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Westminster School at Oak Mountain, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Altamont didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-1 victory against Childersburg on the 14th. As for Westminster School at Oak Mountain, they will head out on the road to square off against Montevallo at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
