Basketball Recap: Steinert Takes a Loss

Steinert was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 66-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Notre Dame Irish. If the Spartans were looking for revenge after losing 54-31 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Steinert's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Notre Dame, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Steinert will be home for the holidays to greet Manalapan at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Notre Dame will take on Marlboro in a holiday battle at at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
