Volleyball Recap: Ballantyne Ridge's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past + How To Watch

Palisades came into Monday's match looking for another win against Ballantyne Ridge, but Shreya Meda wouldn't allow it. The Wolves won by a set and slipped past the Pumas 3-2 for which the team can thank Meda, who had 38 assists. She is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Ballantyne Ridge who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-22, 27-29, 25-17, 20-25, 22-20.

Ballantyne Ridge's win on Monday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Oni Nueman, who had six kills, four aces, and two blocks. Those six kills gave Nueman a new career-high.

With the win, Ballantyne Ridge broke their four-match losing streak and moved their record to 5-13. As for Palisades, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-9.
