Basketball Recap: Federal Way Takes a Loss

Federal Way lost against Gig Harbor back in February of 2015, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Federal Way Eagles came up short against the Gig Harbor Tides, falling 65-42. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Federal Way still got an impressive performance from Elia Baker, who went 5-for-7 en route to 11 points. The dominant performance also gave Baker a new career-high in field goal percentage (71%). Another player making a difference was Bianca Lopez-Ventura, who posted ten points.

Federal Way's defeat dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Gig Harbor, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-12.

As of now, neither Federal Way nor Gig Harbor have any future games scheduled.
