Basketball Recap: Greenville HomeSchool Athletics Takes a Loss

The Greenville HomeSchool Athletics Archers took a blow against the Eustace Bulldogs on Friday, falling 61-5. The matchup marked the Archers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Eustace found their leader in sophomore Preston Sy, who shot 71% from the field on his way to 13 points in addition to six rebounds and six steals. Elijah Lezon was another key player, putting up eight points and five steals.

Greenville HomeSchool Athletics' loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Eustace, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-6.

Greenville HomeSchool Athletics will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on King's Academy at 7:45 p.m. on January 6, 2026. As for Eustace, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 69-57 loss against Fannindel on the 6th.
