Basketball Recap: Campbell County Cougars vs. Madison Southern Eagles
Campbell County saw some tournament action on Monday. They took a 75-68 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Madison Southern Eagles. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Saturday (66), the Cougars still had to take the loss.

Campbell County's loss came despite strong showings from Luke Browning and Will Croley. Browning went 8 for 18 on his way to 18 points and seven rebounds, while Croley went 7 of 12 on his way to 15 points in addition to five assists and five boards. Browning's evening made it seven games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jake Hatmaker, who posted 11 points and four steals.
Even though they lost, Campbell County smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in three consecutive contests.
