Basketball Game Preview: Tillamook Cheesemakers vs. Scappoose Indians

Tillamook and Scappoose are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2017, but not for long. The Tillamook Cheesemakers will welcome the Scappoose Indians at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.

Last Tuesday, Tillamook was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 54-48 to Astoria. The Cheesemakers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Scappoose earned a 56-47 win over St. Helens on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Indians.

Tillamook's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Scappoose, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.

Tillamook might still be hurting after the 69-47 defeat they got from Scappoose in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Scappoose's Quinton Olson, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds.
