Soccer Recap: San Gorgonio Extends Winning Streak to Six

San Gorgonio had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 goals) and they went ahead and made it six on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Kaiser Cats as they made off with an 11-0 win. The Spartans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by three goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Kaiser from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Julio Calzado led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for seven goals all by himself.

San Gorgonio is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-3-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 43 goals over those eight games. As for Kaiser, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-5-1.

As of now, neither San Gorgonio nor Kaiser have any future games scheduled.
