Baseball Recap: Trinity Classical Academy Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Royal, Trinity Classical Academy was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Fillmore Flashes 6-5. That's more bragging rights for the Knights, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Quinn Minyard was excellent, going 2-for-3 with four RBI and one run. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Samuel Vega, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

The victory got Trinity Classical Academy back to even at 2-2. As for Fillmore, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Trinity Classical Academy will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Verdugo Hills at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fillmore, they are headed away from home for the first time to face off against Grace at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
