Basketball Recap: Greeley West Comes Up Short

Greeley West lost against Windsor back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Greeley West Spartans were beaten by the Windsor Wizards 90-25. The contest marked the Spartans' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Madden Smiley was his usual excellent self, almost dropping a triple-double on 22 points, 14 boards, and nine assists for Windsor. Another player making a difference was Marcus Martinez, who went 9 of 14 on his way to 22 points.

Greeley West's loss was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Windsor, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Greeley West will be playing in front of their home fans against Rocky Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Windsor, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 57-33 win against Centaurus on the 11th.
