West Jefferson put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Tuesday. They never let the Triad Cardinals get on the board and left with a 12-0 win. Considering the Roughriders have won seven matchups by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

West Jefferson's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-3. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Triad, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10-1.

Coming up, West Jefferson will be playing in front of their home fans against Worthington Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Triad, they will head out on the road to square off against Southeastern Local at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cardinals are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
