After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Collierville, Ripley was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They walked away with a 7-3 victory over Halls. Ripley hasn't had any issues with Halls recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Ripley's victory bumped their record up to 8-9-1. As for Halls, the loss snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 11-9 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ripley will venture away from home to square off against Gibson County at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Halls, they will challenge Munford at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cougars will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
