St. Monica has gone a perfect 4-0 against Bosco Tech recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Bosco Tech can bid farewell to their 16-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Glendale, sneaking past 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Tigers have posted since February 21st.
Aidan Ramos and Kaysen Duhamel were major factors while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Ramos tossed 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Duhamel didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave Ramos a new career-high in strikeouts (four). At the plate, Ramos went a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI, while Duhamel went 1-for-2 with three RBI, one run, and one double.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on David Gomez, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Daniel Longoria, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run.
Bosco Tech hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They are 3-1 when they post two or more strikeouts.
St. Monica's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15-1. As for Bosco Tech, their victory bumped their record up to 4-18.
