Hoggard entered their tilt with Topsail on Tuesday with nine consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with ten. They blew past the Topsail Pirates 57-28. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 games by 21 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Tristan Shivers, who posted 11 points in addition to eight assists and five boards. She is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted eight or more in each of the last five games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Fitzgerald, who scored seven points and eight rebounds.

Shivers wasn't the only one working in the assist department: Hoggard was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Topsail only racked up six assists.

Topsail's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ava Kita, who went 5-for-10 to rack up 11 points. Riley Trimble was another key player, putting up seven points and five boards.

Hoggard's victory was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.6 points over those games. As for Topsail, their loss dropped their record down to 14-6.

Hoggard didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 46-35 win against New Hanover on the 5th. As for Topsail, they have also already played their next matchup, a 48-39 victory against Laney on the 5th.
