Softball Recap: Forrest County Agricultural Comes Up Short

Forrest County Agricultural lost against Salem back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Forrest County Agricultural Aggies lost 16-1 to the Salem Wildcats. The Aggies just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Forrest County Agricultural's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Salem, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Forrest County Agricultural will take on Moss Point at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Moss Point has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16 runs per game on average), something Forrest County Agricultural will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Salem, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Salem Wildcats duke it out with Lawrence County Cougars at 6:15 p.m. on March 17th.
