Softball Recap: Monday's Win Is Diamond's 11th in Last 12 Outings

Diamond had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Kennett Indians on Monday, sneaking past 8-7. Eight seems to be a good number for the Wildcats as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Diamond has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Kennett, they moved to 29-9 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Diamond nor the Indians have any future games scheduled.
