Basketball Recap: Wylie's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

The Wylie Pirates lost to the Sachse Mustangs at home by a 43-27 margin on Saturday. The matchup marked the Pirates' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Wylie's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-11. As for Sachse, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 23-5.

Wylie and Sachse should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Wylie (ranked 215th) will meet South Garland (ranked 1329th) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Sachse will face off against Lakeview Centennial at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday up 262 places (35 vs. 297).
