Baseball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Bath

Bath won against Shawnee on Thursday with ten runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Wildcats walked away with a 10-5 victory over the Anna Rockets. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rockets, too.

The win was the third in a row for Bath, bringing their record up to 3-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Anna, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bath will challenge Elida at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Anna, they will face off against Piqua at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Indians' pitching crew has only allowed 4.1 runs per game this season, so the Rockets' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
