Baseball Recap: Lake Forest Academy Comes Up Short

Lake Forest Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Francis W. Parker Colonels. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Colonels this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-4 back in April.

Lake Forest Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Francis W. Parker, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-3 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lake Forest Academy will venture away from home to challenge Latin at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Francis W. Parker, they will head out to square off against Proviso East at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
