Basketball Game Preview: L'Anse Purple Hornets vs. Johnston Speedboys

Having just played yesterday, the L'Anse Purple Hornets will get right back to it and host the Johnston Speedboys at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. L'Anse is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

L'Anse is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Forest Park on Thursday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. L'Anse lost 83-59 to Forest Park. The Purple Hornets were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 51-22.

Meanwhile, Johnston came up short against Ewen-Trout Creek on Tuesday and fell 55-47. The loss continues a trend for the Speedboys in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now lost nine in a row.
