Football Recap: Hebron Christian's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Seven + How To Watch

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Hebron Christian walked away with it. They took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 53-20 victory over Trinity Christian. Considering Hebron Christian has won six contests by more than 26 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Devon Caldwell had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 180 yards and a pair of TDs. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his seventh straight game with at least 110 rushing yards. Hebron Christian also got help from Jarvis Mathurin, who showed off his sure hands for 105 receiving yards.

Despite the loss, Trinity Christian still got an impressive performance from Ashton Clare, who threw for 305 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 44 yards and one score.

The win was the seventh in a row for Hebron Christian, bringing their record up to 9-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 46.4 points over those games. As for Trinity Christian, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-7.

Looking ahead, Hebron Christian will face off against Prince Avenue Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Trinity Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
