Soccer Recap: Rogue River Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Rogue River lost against Brookings-Harbor back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Chieftains fell 2-0 to the Bruins. While losing is never fun, Rogue River can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon soccer rankings (they are ranked 91st, while Brookings-Harbor are ranked 25th).

Rogue River's defeat ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 5-3-1. As for Brookings-Harbor, their record now sits at 10-0.

Rogue River wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 4-0 win against Cascade Christian on the 9th. As for Brookings-Harbor, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against St. Mary's on the 9th.
