 DuQuoin can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent  game  on Monday. Everything went their way against the Benton Rangers as the DuQuoin Indians made off with  a  16-4 win. While fans of DuQuoin might be used to big wins, the 12-run margin marked the team's biggest  victory yet this season.
  Essence Haynes made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing five innings while giving up just one earned  (and three unearned) runs off   four  hits (she also only allowed one  walk). Haynes has been consistent recently: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in five consecutive pitching appearances. Haynes was also solid in the batter's box,  going 4-for-4 with two  RBI.
 In other batting news, DuQuoin got a  massive  performance out of  Madison Lee, who  scored two  runs while going 3-for-5.  Ashlyn Waters was another key contributor,  scoring three  runs while going 4-for-4.
 DuQuoin's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Benton, they have  not been sharp recently as the team has  lost eight of their last nine contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record  this season.
 DuQuoin will be playing in front of their home fans against Pinckneyville at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Pinckneyville's pitching crew has only allowed 3.7  runs per game  this season, so DuQuoin's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Benton, they will head out on the road to  take on  Anna-Jonesboro at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Anna-Jonesboro will roll in looking for their  fifth straight  victory, something Benton surely won't give up without a fight.
