Volleyball Game Preview: Soledad Aztecs vs. Monterey Dores + How To Watch

Soledad is 1-8 against Monterey since September of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Aztecs will look to defend their home court against the Dores at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Two weeks ago, Soledad came up short against Alisal and fell 3-1.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-15, 20-25, 25-15.

Monterey had taken Alisal down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Dores fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 3-2.

Monterey took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 25-20, 15-25, 23-25, 25-21, 15-12.

Soledad now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Monterey, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 8-1 and their overall record down to 17-6.
