Football Recap: Lake View Comes Up Short

The Lake View Wildcats were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 18-12 to the Payton College Prep Grizzlies.

Lake View's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Payton College Prep, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Lake View will square off against rival Catalyst-Maria at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Payton College Prep is set to challenge their familiar foe Bulls College Prep at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
