Softball Recap: Atlantic Shores Christian Comes Up Short

Atlantic Shores Christian lost against Broadwater Academy back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Seahawks lost 14-1 to the Vikings. The Seahawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Atlantic Shores Christian saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Skylar Carter, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Carter is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played dating back to last season.

Atlantic Shores Christian now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Broadwater Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Atlantic Shores Christian will head out to face off against Hampton Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Seahawks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Warriors have averaged an impressive 9 runs per game this season. As for Broadwater Academy, they will venture away from home to square off against Tidewater Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
