Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Darien). They put the hurt on the McMahon Senators with a sharp 24-4 victory on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Blue Wave, who have now won eight games by six runs or more so far this season.

Darien's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-3. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for McMahon, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Darien will host Norwalk at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bears will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something the Blue Wave surely won't give up without a fight. As for McMahon, they will face off against Greenwich at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
