Volleyball Recap: Parkview Takes a Loss

Parkview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Buffalo Bison. If the Vikings were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Bison when the teams met back in September of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While Parkview had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-21.

Kaleigh Kirk paced Parkview's offense, picking up four kills. Kirk got some help from Kyra Cannon and her four assists. Jaida Generette and Abigail Debaca kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Parkview's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Buffalo, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2-2 record this season.

Parkview has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Sparta on the 13th. As for Buffalo, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 1-1 draw against Hollister on the 13th.
