West Forsyth had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt R.J. Reynolds on Tuesday. The Titans put the hurt on the Demons with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Titans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-8, 25-18.

Ella Lamoureux paced West Forsyth's offense, picking up six kills. Lamoureux got some help from Hadley Lichty and her 13 assists. Lichty was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Despite the defeat, R.J. Reynolds saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Maggie O'Sullivan had nine digs and two assists.

West Forsyth's win bumped their record up to 11-3. As for R.J. Reynolds, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-11.
