Baseball Recap: Mae Jemison Takes a Loss

Mae Jemison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-5 heartbreaker at the hands of the Columbia Eagles. If the Jaguars were looking for revenge after losing 21-0 to the Eagles when the teams met back in April of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Mae Jemison's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Columbia, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-8.

Columbia has already played their next game (against Athens Bible), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Mae Jemison will be paying especially close attention to the Eagles' matchup: after the Eagles face off against the Trojans, they'll take on Mae Jemison again at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
