Hickman County is 9-1 against East Hickman County since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Hickman County Bulldogs will challenge the East Hickman County Eagles at 7:30 p.m.

Hickman County will head out to face East Hickman County after giving up their first home loss of the season on Tuesday. Hickman County fell 56-47 to Wayne County. While the Bulldogs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Wildcats 13-9 in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, East Hickman County had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged the Fighting Irish out 45-43. That's two games straight that the Eagles have won by exactly two points.

The win got East Hickman County back to even at 9-9. As for Hickman County, their defeat ended a 16-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-5.

Hickman County didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against East Hickman County in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 48-43 victory.
