Basketball Recap: Providence Classical Takes a Loss

Providence Classical was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 44-40 heartbreaker at the hands of the Arborbrook Christian Academy Falcons.

When it comes to explaining why Providence Classical lost, don't look at Grafton Eiff. Despite the final result, he went 7 for 17 on his way to 28 points in addition to five assists and five boards. Eiff's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Providence Classical's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Arborbrook Christian Academy, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Providence Classical won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Kingdom Leadership Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Arborbrook Christian Academy, they will venture away from home to square off against NorthPoint Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 20th.
