Basketball Game Preview: Decatur Red Raiders vs. Lawrence County Red Devils

The Decatur Red Raiders will challenge the Lawrence County Red Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Decatur will be strutting in after a victory while Lawrence County will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Saturday, Decatur earned a 61-49 win over Winfield.

Meanwhile, Lawrence County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss. They took a blow against Florence, falling 61-30. While losing is never fun, the Red Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 338th, while the Falcons are ranked 59th).

Decatur's victory bumped their record up to 10-14. As for Lawrence County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-19.

Everything went Decatur's way against Lawrence County in their previous meeting two weeks ago, as Decatur made off with a 65-43 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Decatur since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
