Baseball Recap: Brookfield East Extends Home Winning Streak to Six

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Waukesha North, Brookfield East was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They skirted past the Hamilton Chargers 6-5. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Brookfield East pushed their record up to 15-6 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Hamilton, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brookfield East will welcome Waterford at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Hamilton, they will take on Germantown at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
