Softball Recap: Clearview Comes Up Short on the Road Against Rocky River

Clearview kicked off their season on the road on Monday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 10-0 to the Rocky River Pirates. The defeat continues a trend for the Clippers in their meetings with the Pirates: they've now lost six in a row.

Clearview saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Genesis Ruiz-Narvaez, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clearview will head out to challenge Lorain at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Rocky River, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Avon Lake at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
