Basketball Recap: Woodstock North Takes a Loss

Woodstock North lost against Genoa-Kingston back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Woodstock North Thunder lost 69-48 to the Genoa-Kingston Cogs. The Thunder just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Woodstock North's loss dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Genoa-Kingston, the victory got them back to even at 13-13.

Woodstock North won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Johnsburg at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Genoa-Kingston, they will also get right back to it: they'll face off against Winnebago at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Genoa-Kingston's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests.
